Q and A
Q : What is the weather like in Perth?
A : Perth enjoys a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and warm dry
summers. Winter is not cold enough for snow but you will need some warm clothes
especially in the mornings and after dark. Summer is sometime hot but rarely
humid. It is usually sunny and ideal for the beach or pool.
Q : How much money should I bring?
A : Your package includes all of your major expenses so you really need only a
little pocket money. Generally costs are much less than Europe or Japan. If you
plan to take a lot of tours, eat out and buy souvenirs you may need about $A500
per week. Credit cards are very useful in Australia.
Q : What kind of visa do I need?
A : Usually your travel agent will arrange an ETA which allows a 3 month stay.
If you wish to stay longer this may be extended for another 3 months. Some
nationalities can obtain 1 year working holiday visas. For more information ask
your travel agent or check the Immigration Department website.
Q : What should I bring?
A : You only need to bring your personal clothes and toiletries. Bring some
warm clothes especially if visiting Australia between April and October.
Australia uses 240 volt electricity and power points take 3 flat prongs. Bring
an adapter if you plan to use your electronic devises. You should be aware that
quarantine restrictions are quite stringent. Don't bring fresh food and make
sure you have a copy of your prescription for any medication.

A : Yes. Our school is exactly right for you. We can get you started learning
English. Your teacher can provide basic communication in 6 languages.

A : Yes. Usually this will be fine but it is best to book ahead to guarantee
your place as we have a maximum of just 4 students at a time.
